The Central Illinois CPCU Society Chapter is pleased to deliver this free hybrid luncheon presentation on Aug14th, 2025. We will welcome Nick Bartholomew. Nick is a nationally recognized storm chaser, science communicator, and founder of Storm Science. Storm Science is an educational program dedicated to inspiring curiosity about weather and severe storms.

Nick Bartholomew has over a decade of hands-on experience tracking tornadoes, supercells, and other extreme weather events across the United States, Nick has built a reputation for both fearless fieldwork and compelling storytelling.

Nick’s storm footage and meteorological insights have been featured across major news and weather networks, including The Weather Channel, ABC News, and local affiliates nationwide. His work has contributed to countless public safety broadcasts and weather awareness campaigns, making him a trusted voice during some of the country’s most dangerous weather outbreaks.

In addition to his storm chasing career, Nick has presented to thousands of students, educators, and science enthusiasts through live programming that blends real-world experience with hands-on science education. His mission is simple: to bring the wonder and power of weather to people of all ages while promoting safety, awareness, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.
